Ocean Blue mani

Hi All, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. So I went shopping on friday (this is very rare for me) and I found the most beautiful blue nail polish. It has no glitter or any shimmer to it and I just had to have it. It's called Aquamarine from Sinful Colors....Just beautiful. So I did a mani that was pretty simple to do. I applied my Aquamrine nail polish and let dry. I did two coats of this. I wanted it to stand out and it did. Then I went back and apply Sinful Colors black on black to do the striping. Pretty easy, Huh! Here are some pics...Enjoy!

Foil butterfly

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing great. Today I had an idea and it came to me out of the blue. I saw a mani earlier this week and they used foil to create a design. Well I wanted to create something original or I think its original. If someone else credted this design I do apologize, I just didnt see any out there. Anyways, I decided to use the same techinque but butterfly cut-outs with my cut-out tool. So basically I applied two coats of Sinful Colors Mint Apple( let it dry for about a minute) then I carefully used tweezers to apply the cut-outs. Gently take a nail care stick a press it slightly into the wet nail polish. I then applied one coat of SV and your done. Simple, huh?? I didnt take that much time at all. just a little patience. Well take care and Happy mani's.

Zebra strips mani

Hi everyone. Hope you guys are doing okay. Today was a wonderful and unexpected day. I received news today (sorry I cant tell you what it is) that just made my day even better. This mani was inspired by my friend Leo. She happens to love everything zebra. So this is my version of a zebra strip mani. Enjoy!! My base coat is Sinful Colors Oasis 942. I did two coats of this color. Then I used a thin acrylic paint brush (or any thin paint brush will be good) and used Sinful colors black on black 2 and did ramdom strips. This is pretty easy to do. I also dont think that anyone can screw this up, but if you happen to do so just keep on trying. Pratice makes perfect (although I'm not perfect I'm still trying).

Half-moon mani

I decided to do a half-moon mani for you guys. It doesnt requie that much effort but if your like me who has a two year old little girl who just loves to get into mommy's business then it will take longer. Just when I was just about to apply my half moon my little one decides she wants her finger nails painted just like mommys. Well of course she would'nt keep still long enough for me to do a half moon mani on her so the next best thing is to just paint her nails. My top coat is by Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Lively Lilac. I then used manicure tape for the half-moon. Tape those on once your nail polish has dried. After you have applied your tape take any color you wish to use. For my half-moon I used Sinful Colors Mint Apple Next I did a top coat of SV.

Some of my work

So here are some pics that I did. It might not be the greatest to you but I thought I did alright. Oh and sorry if the pics are not great. I'm working with a old camara.

Ugly nails

So for the past few weeks I have been TRYING to grow my nails and I have very unsuccessful at it. I blame stress. I have been stressed out for the last few weeks with work, money and personal relationships. It hasnt been easy but I was told about the vitamin called Biotin. Biotin is a dietary supplement that helps with skin/hair/nail support. I have been taking this along with regular vitamins and it has helped but then again I blame stress on my hideious ugle looking nails. As you can see it's horrible and my other hand dont look that great either. Both hands are chipped and cracking. I will post some pics of nail designs that I have done in the past and hopefully you dont think bad of me and my nails...lol
