Blood Flow!

Good Morning All,   I hope so far you are having a great weekend.  Today I found another nail polish that was un-named.  The color is a dark red and the reason I'm naming this color "blood flow" is because of how it finished on my nails.  Let me explain...I just recently bought a "matte" nail polish by NYC Matte me Crazy.  It is a matifying top coat.

I used three coats of "blood flow" then let dry.  Once your color is dry apply the NYC Matte me Crazy top coat and VOILA!!!  Your nail color just became matte.  It was goregous!!  The color became soo dark red it looked like blood.  I'm not crazy or weird it just looks great.  You can decide for yourselves.

Enjoy!

Mauve Me!

Yay!!  It is FRIDAY, WOOP WOOP. I dont know about you but I'm sooo ready for the weekend.  It has been a long week even if I had 4th of July off.  But the weekend is here so I'm happy.  Today I wanted to show you this nail polish that was actually given to me several years ago by my mother-in-law.  It has no name or brand to it,but because of the color I choose to name it myself. I'm calling iit Mauve me.

I did three coats of this nail polish.  It is pretty running and at first the coverage is not sooo great.  But as you can see the color is gorgeous.  So agian three coats of "mauve me" and then sv to finish.

Have Safe Weekend!  Happy Mani's!

Pretty In Pink

Hi ladies, so today I did a pretty simple mani.  Not much to it actually. But I wanted something pink and dantie.
So to start I painted my nail with NYC In a New York mintue #234 Wall Street.  This is such a cute princess'e color that I just had to use it.  Then I taped off my nail tip with manicure tape and painted NYC Long wearing  #134 French White tip and VOILA!!!  Top it with SV and your done.

Kerr....SPLAT!!!!

Hi Lovely's, I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend. As the weekend comes to an end I wanted to end it with something fun. So I created this look for you and I'm calling kerr...splat. When I started doing this it wasnt working out to what I thought it would be. I had the hardest time getting the colors to actually splat (lol).

This is how I did this mani.   I took a small juice box straw (prefable, a coffee straw) and a peice of foil(to place my colors on).  the colors I used NYC longwearing French white tip (for my base polish), then I splated NYC in a newyork minute  Wall Street,NYC longwearing  taxi yellow creme,  Sinful Colors Happy Endings,Sinful Colors Cloud 9, NYC  In a NewYork minute Prince Street and NYC In a New York minute East Village.

This was a little time consuming but I just wanted to see it done and how it would turn out.  You can judge for your selves and tell what you think.

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND....HAPPY MANI'S

Ocean Blue mani

Hi All, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. So I went shopping on friday (this is very rare for me) and I found the most beautiful blue nail polish. It has no glitter or any shimmer to it and I just had to have it. It's called Aquamarine from Sinful Colors....Just beautiful. So I did a mani that was pretty simple to do. I applied my Aquamrine nail polish and let dry. I did two coats of this. I wanted it to stand out and it did. Then I went back and apply Sinful Colors black on black to do the striping. Pretty easy, Huh! Here are some pics...Enjoy!

Foil butterfly

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing great. Today I had an idea and it came to me out of the blue. I saw a mani earlier this week and they used foil to create a design. Well I wanted to create something original or I think its original. If someone else credted this design I do apologize, I just didnt see any out there. Anyways, I decided to use the same techinque but butterfly cut-outs with my cut-out tool. So basically I applied two coats of Sinful Colors Mint Apple( let it dry for about a minute) then I carefully used tweezers to apply the cut-outs. Gently take a nail care stick a press it slightly into the wet nail polish. I then applied one coat of SV and your done. Simple, huh?? I didnt take that much time at all. just a little patience. Well take care and Happy mani's.
